I painted on a dead tree in the park today.
We’ve had a bit of snow lately, but today it’s back up in the high 50’s and I’m still finding mushroom remains in the park. I just found these cool little guys, and I’m attempting to trap them in clear tubes filled with resin. we’ll see if it works…I’ve never used resin before, and the mushrooms aren’t completely dried. I’m curious to see if they’ll rot inside the cast over time, or if they lose their color. If they don’t, I’ve found a new hobby!…just what I need.
I recently stocked up on neon yellow, pink, and orange shirts! yay blacklights! I printed a few mushroom frog shirts on yellow. I’m working 6 full days a week right now so I won’t have time to get decent pictures and post them on Etsy for a while, but I’ll let you know when they’re up!
This is a sketch I did yesterday, scanned, and messed around with in photoshop and illustrator.
